Moje badania obejmują płeć w migracji, transnarodowe praktyki opiekuńcze, globalizację opieki nad seniorami, starzenie się na tle migracji i antropologię stosowaną. Jestem antropolożką społeczną i obecnie pracuję na stanowisku profesora w Departamencie Antropologii Społecznej i Kulturowej na Wydziale Humanistycznym Uniwersytetu Karola w Pradze. Otrzymałam stypendium na Uniwersytecie Hebrajskim w Jerozolimie (2000—2001), stypendium Sasakawa na Uniwersytecie Goethego we Frankfurcie nad Menem (2007), stypendium Erste dla naukowców społecznych (2010—2011), stypendium ACES na Uniwersytecie w Amsterdamie oraz stypendium dla międzynarodowych wykładowców przyznawane przez Uniwersytet w Padwie (2023). Moja ostatnia praca została opublikowana w “Intimacy and mobility in an era of hardening borders (Gender, reproduction, regulation)”, przez Manchester University Press oraz w Global Dialogue Magazine.

I am a master’s student in Anthropological Studies at Charles University in Prague, originally from Slovakia. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Ethnology at Comenius University in Bratislava, where I developed a strong interest in medical anthropology and traditional healing. Within the CareOrg project, I study the transnational lives of Slovak live-in care workers in the Netherlands. My research focuses on their working conditions in a live-in care and everyday experiences, and on how these are shaped by the wider senior care infrastructures and transnational care chains linking Slovakia and the Netherlands. This project also forms the basis of my master’s thesis, which I am writing under the supervision of Mgr. Petra Ezzeddine, Ph.D.
